     This is a report of road construction on Montana's interstates and major highways.  This report includes information available at the time of preparation.

     TRAFFIC FINES DOUBLE in highway work zones.  The law also set fines and jail sentences for reckless endangerment of highway workers.
     MINOR DELAYS (up to ten minutes) can be expected through these projects with anything over ten minutes being noted in the description.  Watch for equipment, flaggers, and workers along the road.  Expect reduced speed limits.
I-115  Work on this project is temporarily suspended.  When work resumes please expect the following:  Intersection with I-115 to Platinum (Excelsior Avenue in Butte).  Striping work in progress.  
I-15  Work on this project is temporarily suspended.  When work resumes please expect the following:  Approximately 14 miles north of Dillion through Glen to Melrose.  Striping work in progress.    Waiting for final striping.
 Main Street Main Street in Butte.  Bridge work in progress.  Expect detour.
I-15  Work on this project is temporarily suspended.  When work resumes please expect the following:  South of Helena near Montana City north approximately 2 miles.  Miscellaneous work in progress.    The interchange and frontage road are now open to the traveling public.  The contractor will continue to do work that is off the roadway.  There may be some traffic control for future work.
 North Montana Avenue
 In Helena - from Enterprise to Custer Avenue.  Miscellaneous work in progress.  Expect fresh oil, loose gravel.
I-15  Work on this project is temporarily suspended.  When work resumes please expect the following:  Near Ulm continuing north of Great Falls to the Emerson Junction.  Miscellaneous work in progress.  
I-15  This project has been completed.  Sun River Bridge near Great Falls.  Bridge work in progress.    Bridge inspections will be taking place but there is no longer a width restriction required.
 Vaughn Road - Great Falls
 Work on this project is temporarily suspended.  When work resumes please expect the following:  From Central West to Northwest Bypass.  Miscellaneous work in progress.  
I-90  East of Henderson.  Bridge work in progress.  There is a width restriction of 12 feet.  Expect detour, reduced speed to 55 mph, single lane closures, motorcycles consider another route.  There is a 12 foot width restriction and a 100 foot length restricton for eastbound traffic and westbound traffic. Triples are excluded from the length restriction. Over width loads and over length loads will be piloted through the project on Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.  To coordinate piloting please contact Jeff Hollenback, Western Traffic Control at 406-531-9914.
I-90  Work on this project is temporarily suspended.  When work resumes please expect the following:  One mile west of the Clinton Interchange to 9 miles east of the Rock Creek Interchange.  Striping work in progress.

I-90  Seven miles east of Bozeman to 17.5 miles east.  Crack sealing work in progress.  Expect reduced speed to 35 mph, single lane traffic, single lane closures.
I-90  Jackson Creek Interchange between Bozeman and Livingston. Bridge work in progress.  There is a width restriction of 15 feet.  Expect detour, reduced speed varying from 35 to 65 mph, single lane traffic.  Two-way traffic on the east bound lane from milemaker 324 to milemarker 330, west bound lanes will be closed to traffic from milemarker 324 to 329.5. There will be a 15 foot width restriction in place west bound and a 20 foot width restriction east bound.  Interchange will cause one lane traffic on the frontage road.
 I-90 Springdale Interchange to 6 miles east.  Paving work in progress.  Expect reduced speed to 45 mph.  Paving on the ramps only.
 Old Highway 10
 From Park City east to Gulf Course Road.  Bridge work in progress.  There is a width restriction of 12 feet.  Expect reduced speed to 35 mph, single lane traffic, traffic controlled by signal lights.
 West Billings - King Avenue
 From 20th Street to Midland Road.  Miscellaneous work in progress.    Replacing damaged guardrail sections.  Work will not affect traffic.
I-90  Lodge Grass Interchange continuing west to the Garryowen Interchange.  Paving work in progress.  There is a width restriction of 16 feet.  Expect single lane traffic.
I-90  Work on this project is temporarily suspended.  When work resumes please expect the following:  One mile east of Lodge Grass Interchange to one mile west of Wyola Interchange. Miscellaneous work in progress.    No impacts to traffic.
I-94  Work on this project is temporarily suspended.  When work resumes please expect the following:  East of Pompey's Pillar to Custer Interchange.  Miscellaneous work in progress. Expect fresh oil.
I-94  Hodges Interchange - Exit 231.  Miscellaneous work in progress.

MT-200  Milltown - Blackfoot River Bridge.  Bridge work in progress. There is a width restriction of 12 feet.  Expect detour, reduced speed to 25 mph.  Loads over 12 feet wide traveling on MT-200 will be detoured to the Clinton Interchange and onto S-210. The Turah Interchange cannot be used because of height restrictions.  There will be intermittent road closures on S-210 from Bonner to Turah.  Travelers will be detoured onto Rustic Road.  Loads over 13 feet 9 inches tall, loads over 15 feet wide, and loads over 95 feet long will need need to call 406-728-9370 to arrange for piloting.

Expect detour, single lane traffic, road closure, intersection work.  This project is also tied to 2nd Ave N from 10th St to 15th St.  2nd Ave N is open from 14th St to Park Drive.  All side streets are open to traffic.  Access to the 2nd Ave N businesses will be maintained at all times. 9th St from 3rd Ave S to Central Ave is closed.  2nd Ave S is closed from 7th St to 9th St with north and south cross streets open.  14th and 15th St are open to traffic.
